Making the fins
1. Get out your piece of balsa wood and place it next to you.
2. Go to Google and enter "2 liter bottle rocket fin template" into your search engine.
3. Click on the second image (its and image of two fins with a grid paper background.
(look below)
4. Copy the image and paste it to Microsoft word to enlarge it to the size you please.
5. Print out the image. Cut out the fin that is larger. (See image below, and cut out the
first one.)
6. Trace onto your balsa wood five of this fin. You will only be using three of them, but
just incase trace five. You may mess up with tracing. Make sure to trace with a
permanent marker!!
7. Cut them out using a box cutter. Be very careful and cut along the lines!
8. Hot glue them to closest area next to the nosel (cap area). Hot glue on low heat and do
not place metal on hotglue gun directly onto your bottle. It will melt them, Make sure
the fins are evenly spaced out!
CONGRATS! YOU'VE MADE AND ATTACHED THE FINS!
